Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten/New Student Registration 2022-2023

The Langley School District welcomes new Kindergarten students to our schools. Our teachers and staff are excited to meet your family. All children who will be five years old by December 31, 2022 (children born in 2017) are eligible for the Kindergarten program beginning September 2022.

Registration opens January 17, 2022. All registrations will be done ONLINE through your catchment school and is not available at the School Board Office. Registration is not available during spring break.  This registration process is the same for ALL grades (1-12).

  • You MUST register through your catchment school. To find your child’s catchment school, use our school locator tool
  • If you have any questions about registration at RC Garnett Demonstration Elementary School please contact Mrs. Bradford jbradford@sd35.bc.ca

Registration is open from January 17- March 31, 2022

All registrations are date and time stamped once completed. Students are then placed on a placement list, prioritized by date and time of completed registration. Once we have more information regarding spaces for your child(ren) we will contact you.

“In the event that the District may not be able to accommodate a catchment student within the catchment school, the student will be placed on a ‘School Placement List’ prioritized by date and time of application. The District will accommodate the student at a neighbouring school until such time as space is available.” (Policy No. 7008)
